Yate, Riverside
Recent improvements to the Yate Shopping Centre had seen an increase in visitors coupled with a demand for additional facilities. After a prolonged period of consultation the local authority gave their approval to a scheme to convert the Centre’s overflow car park into a new extension to the popular retail centre. The extension includes a total of twelve individual units which will provide a mixture of leisure, retail and restaurant facilities. The scheme also includes a Cineworld multi-screen cinema complex as well as a selection of restaurants including Frankie & Benny’s and Nandos. The centre which opened just before Christmas 2015 is proving popular with local residents and visitors alike.
